An Occupational Therapist can support you to re-integrate into the community. You may have had difficulty accessing the community owing to illness, mental or physical. It can be difficult to ‘get back into things’ such as hobbies, interests, work, and social situations. With an Occupational Therapist a plan can we built together to support you to achieve you goals. Examples include supporting an individual with anxiety to access the community, guiding someone with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder back into a school environment and facilitating independence for someone who has newly found themselves in a wheelchair.
